All UK lenders will conduct a credit agency file check upon all individuals applying for mortgage, buy to let, and any other type of loan facility secured upon a property.
We have experienced while most lenders use one main credit agency, there are other agencies available who are used by a smaller group of lenders.
Additionally we are now finding more lenders using more than one agency as all the information on one credit agency on occasion differs from another credit agency provider to another agency.
It is therefore imperative to be able to access your credit report to ultimately determine the best way forward when applying for any type of credit agreement, as most issues are only brought to light when applying for a loan/credit agreement.
If there are errors upon the report, the agencies involved will normally do everything possible to correct this, as they fully understand the impact this has upon the individual/s.
